About the role
Working safely as part of a team tasked with manufacturing Draeger’s Fire & Gas detection systems.
Manufacturing Fire & Gas detection Control Panels using Draeger and/or third party supplied equipment.
Manufacturing Gas Detection Sampling Systems using Draeger and/or third party supplied equipment.
Pre-inspection checks of colleagues work and preparing Fire & Gas Detection Systems and equipment for inspection.
Work in an effective and efficient manner to ensure production orders are completed on time and to a high quality.
Actively promote continual improvements to drive the business forward. Taking part in 6S audits.
Work safely and promote a safe place to work culture.
The tasks and responsibilities above are typical of the duties the postholder will be expected to perform. It is not necessarily exhaustive and other duties of a similar nature and level may be required from time to time.

Role Requirements
Education/Qualifications
NVQ3, HNC or related experience listed below.
Related Experience
Electrical fitting work, electrical installation work, instrumentation assembly and testing.
Skills, Special Competencies
Marking out back plates, drilling, tapping, wiring, looming, glanding, understanding technical drawings, soldering, pipe bending, valve assemblies and compression fittings. Reading and interpreting instrument control system drawings, reading, interpreting and following risk assessments / SOPs, and reading / following test procedures.
