About the role

• Developing new products and from concept to manufacture supporting the design functions by creating Pro-E Assemblies Models and Drawings.

• Administration of change requests to update drawings, models and Bills of materials.

• Updating Data within Lifecycle management tool (PLM)

• Creation of new drawings model files and Bills of materials to support projects

• Administering the release of new saleable part numbers to the organisation

• Providing drawing support for other departments within the organization

• Head of Product Data

Size of team/environment

• Joining a team of 4 to create and maintain documentation. This team sits as part of the “Product data Group“ within the overall R&D department.

Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

• HND or higher in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.

Related Experience

• Previous experience in a design drafting environment

• Good understanding of Engineering Change Processes

• Competent with Pro-E Creo or similar and Auto CAD

Skills, Special Competencies

• High attention to detail

• Understanding of technical specification,

• Good communication skills,

• Customer focused play to win attitude

• Ownership of task

• Willingness to learn and adapt to changes

• A team player with the ability to interact with all areas of the Company, especially Manufacturing, Quality and Product Management.
